Between 1997 and 2004 Geoff had roles in the UK government including director of the Government&#8217;s Strategy Unit and head of policy in the Prime Minister&#8217;s office. \u00a0\u00a0He has been Chief Executive of The Young Foundation; director of the think-tank Demos; and a reporter on BBC TV and radio. \u00a0 He is a senior visiting scholar at Harvard, has set up a range of new social ventures and advises many governments around the world. Past books include Good and Bad Power (Penguin) and \u2018The Locust and the Bee\u2019 (Princeton University Press).
