How can research sustain Social Innovation? What can the Socio-Economic Sciences and Humanities (SSH) contribute?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008080;\">These\u00a0are some of the topics which were discussed during the International Scientific Conference<strong>\u201cChallenge Social Innovation \u2013 Innovating innovation by research \u2013 100 years after Schumpeter<\/strong>\u201d including a <strong>NET4SOCIETY Networking event <\/strong>pertaining to the SSH Call for Proposals 2012. The event conference\u00a0took place from 19<sup>th<\/sup> to 21<sup>st<\/sup> September in Vienna.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>A series of sessions\u00a0took place over three days, moving from policy discussion and debate to FP7 networking and engagement.<\/p>\n<p>Results were documented by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.net4society.eu\/_media\/Vienna-Declaration_final_10Nov2011.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Vienna Declaration on Social Innovation<\/a> and a major book: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.springer.com\/de\/book\/9783642328787\" target=\"_blank\">Challenge Social Innovation<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Challenge Social Innovation &amp; Vienna Declaration What does Social Innovation mean today?
