Jürgen Schultze is a senior researcher at TU Dortmund University (Social Research Centre), and co-ordinator of the research area “Transformative Governance in Municipalities and Regions”. He is implementing transition elements from labs to large scale dialogues, enabling shared visions and co-creation between different stakeholder groups. His main research interests are the enrichment of urban planning by citizen participation, regional roadmap processes for climate adaptation, the establishment of social innovation labs on a municipal level, and cross-sectoral dialogue for the specification of new climate models. Another focus of his work lies on the upscaling of sustainable innovations.
