Call for Papers and Posters

on the occasion of the

Austrian EU Council Presidency Conference on

Impact of Social Sciences and Humanities for a European Research Agenda – Valuation of SSH in mission-oriented research

 28-29 November 2018, Vienna

The conference invites submissions of extended abstracts and/or posters in particular by:

  • academic researchers
  • policy makers (including research councils and funding agencies) and
  • representatives from research support services.

The call asks for policy-oriented academic and practice-oriented contributions (extended abstracts and/or posters) addressing one of the three major thematic pillars of the

  • Valuation Pathways
  • Structures & Policies
  • Assessing Impact

All contributions will be peer reviewed and selected by members of the Scientific Committee.

The contributors of the selected extended abstracts will be invited to prepare a full-fledged presentation in one of the thematic sessions of the conference. They are also invited to submit a full paper which will be printed in the conference proceedings. However, the submission of a full paper is not mandatory and does not affect the presentation.

The best three posters will be honoured with a recognition award at the end of the conference.

Please note that in a few weeks we are also launching a call for videos on valuation pathways and impacts of SSH research. The best three videos will also receive a prize.
